This Remington manufactured early variation receiver is for the model 512-P Sportmaster bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of original blue finish blending with a brown patina and having a few specks of light surface rust. This reciever has the two holes in it that are designed to accept the factory peep sight. This is the only part on the model 512 Sportmaster rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
